Bluegrass Camps for Kids in Fairbanks
Bluegrass Camps for Kids are 4-day camps for children ages 5 - 17 that teach traditional bluegrass instruments and vocal techniques. Kids can choose to take fiddle, guitar, banjo, bass, mandolin or vocal sessions. Instructors cater to all ability levels. Pre-registration required. Contact pbowers@alaska.net

Alaska Folk Festival in Juneau every April. Dances from Thursday through Saturday nights concurrent with performances. Workshops. Jam sessions all night for any kind of folk music. Musicians come from all over the Northwest. Call 463-3316 or check the website above for further info.
