An interactive / onscreen lighting lab where the user controls lights in the 9 basic lighting positions; including intensity and color. ..... One of the most exciting "chapters" of my CD is the "Mini Lightlab". A fully interactive computer version of one of the single most useful tools available for lighting designers of all levels, it allows you to test design choices in the comfort of your own home.

..... The "Mini Light Lab" has 9 instruments in their most common theatre positions focused on two human models (not computer-generated abstract objects!).

..... Each one of the lighting instruments may be set at any intensity between "0" and "Full" in 10% increments. You may choose up to 30 colors (plus "no color" equals 31) for each unit, and you can choose from 9 different backgrounds which includes: brick, stucco, realistic sunset, a painted sunset, red velvet, flat black, a sunny field, textured woods, or blue tie-dye.

..... Here is a limited version (the full version is over 35 meg - now that would be a long download!) available for you to try using low-resolution photos, no colors, and only a few backgrounds.
