Jessica Knott, vocalist and Wonder Shredder manipulator extraordinaire, hails from Slidell, Louisiana, a town due slightly north of the “Big O!” Orleans that is, where food is “oh so good”, times are “oh so fun”, and noise is “oh so fine”. While a relative newcomer to the music scene of Fairbanks, Alaska, Jessica is no stranger to performing, with over 16 theatrical performances under her belt. Having been raised in a musical household, makes singing with Lousiaska even more special for Jessica as it mixes her love for music with her love for family (Mandolin player Leighton Nunez is her father). “I remember going to see my parents perform as a child and having so much fun listening to the music and running around dancing. I just hope when my daughter, my husband, or anyone else sees Lousiaska play they have as much fun as I am having up there. Life = Laughter. That’s what it is all about!”
